At the heart of our Matariki Nights Menu Trail is Te Kai a Matariki (The Harvest of Matariki) – beautifully baked hāpuku served with smoked kūmara purée, crisp rewena crumb, horopito-buttered watercress and vibrant kawakawa oil. Thoughtfully crafted using distinctly New Zealand ingredients and flavours, this limited-time dish offers a contemporary expression of seasonal harvest and local culinary heritage, creating a memorable way to celebrate Matariki through food.
