Starting the new year with a burst of excitement! Portlander, in partnership with Rydges Wellington and Ranui Essentials Lavender Farm, is delving into the world of the herb of love – lavender! In Rydges’ inaugural instalment of the “Behind the Business” series, Nikki and Sam embarked on a journey to Ranui Essentials earlier this month to explore the cultivation, harvesting, and extraction processes behind this versatile plant. From the fields to the distillery, they discovered how lavender is transformed into an array of products, including some delectable alcoholic beverages!
